The Bible tells us that marriage is an honorable estate instituted and blessed by God, before mankind’s fall into sin. It is intended for mutual companionship, help, support, and procreation. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” () In marriage we see a picture of the relationship that Christ has with his bride, the Church. The Lord promises to bless all those who put their trust in him for Jesus’ sake, and so we pray for all couples who are uniting their hearts according to God’s will.

Pastor will gladly perform a Lutheran wedding ceremony for members of the congregation. We are not able to schedule weddings for those who are not members of the congregation. However, we pray for God’s blessings upon your union!

Please call the church office (314.741.6781) for more information about scheduling your wedding at Salem.
