New Student Admissions Process

Cover Letter

STEP ONE – Fill out the Application for Admission Form

Return it to Salem School along with the other information required (copy of shot records and birth certificate and 200 dollars/child.)

STEP TWO Release of Information Form

Please send these forms to your child’s current school.

STEP THREE – Tuition Assistance

The direct link to the Financial Assistance for Salem Lutheran School is: mytads.com/fa/lesa.

  • Complete the TADS Tuition Aid and Assessment Application.
  • Select Applicant Sign In.
  • New users select Create an Account OR returning users enter their existing Username and Password.
  • Follow the instructions and prompts on the TADS online application< to complete and submit your application. Refer to the TADS Checklist to ensure you have fulfilled all of the application requirements.
  • After submitting your application online, mail or fax your income documentation (as listed on the final page of the application) to TADS using the address or fax number shown.
  • Applications will be reviewed and funding determinations will be made by Salem Lutheran School and LESA Awards Committee.
  • Your school administrator will be notified of award determinations for all scholarship programs and parents will be notified on or about the second week in June 2017.

All materials must be submitted by April 1st. Applications received after this date will be considered only if funds are available. Please move expeditiously because classrooms will fill up and financial aid will run out.

STEP FOUR – You will be notified of your testing date and your Financial Aid Package.

Returning Student Admissions Process

STEP ONE – Fill out the Application for Re-Admission Form.

Return it to Salem School along with the $200 per child ($100 if returned by April 1st) application fee to the school office.

Make Checks payable to Salem Lutheran School.

STEP TWO– Set up your payment plan with TADS – mytads.com/fa/lesa

STEP THREE– Financial Aid Forms

  • Complete the TADS Tuition Aid and Assessment Application
  • Select Applicant Sign In
  • Users will select – Create an Account
  • Follow the instructions and prompts on the TADS online application to complete and submit your application. Refer to the TADS Checklist to ensure you have fulfilled all of the application requirements.
  • Payment of a $34 per family application fee is required at the end of the application process to complete the application. This is paid directly to TADS.
  • After submitting your application online, mail or fax your income documentation (as listed on the final page of the application) to TADS using the address or fax number shown.
  • You must select LESA’s Building Blocks Scholarship for financial aid.
  • Applications will be reviewed and funding determinations will be made by Salem Lutheran School and LESA Awards Committee.
  • All materials must be submitted online to TADS by April 1. Applications received after this date will be considered only if funds are available.

STEP FOUR– You will be notified of your testing date (if you are a new student). You will be notified about your financial aid package approximately the second week of June 2017.
